Fake 1
----Begin E-Mail----
I just stumbled across your site and I think it's great. I mean let's face it, wounds are pretty funny (so long as they're someone else's!)
Anyway, I don't have any photos of actual wounds as I don't hurt myself very often and never have a camera handy when I do. I do
however have a still photo that was taken on the set of a short film that I am currently working on. The stiff in the photo is my buddy
Chad with the steak knife protruding from his back. We are shooting in black and white, so we used the old Hitchcock trick of
Hershey's syrup for blood, since actual blood looks phony without color. Chad's 4 year old son was in the room as I applied the knife
gag and the chocolate sauce, and he was a little confused about the whole process as you might imagine. It's not everyday that you
see your father dead on the floor with a knife in his back and chocolate oozing out! Anyway, with any luck someone I know will hurt
themselves badly very soon and I will be there to capture it on film and send it to you for everyone's amusement. In the meantime, I
hope that you enjoy this photo even though it isn't real.

Editor's Notes:
Our first fake. I've had if for a while, but have decided to release it upon you now. If you want to work on a fake, read our "Disclaimer" page. We'll take 'em. Just don't try to fool us, that's no fun (for us). Pretty soon maybe we'll bring little Chad Jr on staff to help up figure out what is fake and what is real. At this rate he'll be an expert at 8 years old.
