Had an on the job accident. My finger got bored by a drill press. There was nothing left but the bone, so they rolled back the skin, found a fingernail and sewed it to my leg. No, it ain't my d*ck. When I woke up from surgery I thought it was! I was going to punch the doc. But after a better look found out it was my leg. shwwwwesh.

The finger took 9 months to heal completely. It was sewn to my leg for 7 months. That's how long it took for the skin to grow correctly. The worst part was clothing and going to the bathroom. Had to wear coveralls and when I slept I had to have a belt strapped around my body so I would not rip the finger from the leg. Also, I had several operations to reduce scarring and had months of hand therapy to learn how to use hand with no nerves in it. I lost all the nerves in the hand cause the bit reeled them in on the machine I was injured with..I'm ok now. I can function ok, just have to use the right hand to feel the chickies if ya know what I mean.

..thanx for posting it

Editor's Notes:

No, Thank you for sending it in. I've never seen anything like that. It looks like a tube of skin! Seven months?! You couldn't move your arm for 7 months? That's terrible. I get uncomfortable in the car after an hour, I can't imagine not moving my left arm for seven months. It's certainly worth it to keep the finger, though. The healing looks really good too.
