This is still a wound that is healing. It was caused by an accident at work around Christmas of 2001 and was a simple skin piercing injury. However, infection took hold and ended up being ulcerated. A good reason to keep injuries (even reasonably minor ones) clean and get them treated by a doctor as soon as possible.

Its not sore, its not painful but damn itchy :/ Its still being dressed everyday and im taking loads of antibiotics for it. And yes, before you ask, it did smell.

ED: I never did ascertain exactly what kind of piercing was involved but I'm pretty sure it's not what you are thinking. And if it was from THE piercing sport, Jousting, which is what I was thinking, then it's relatively minor.

And yes, there's a lesson here, wash up.
