Tumor Removal

Hey Guys What's Up?,

This is a series of pics taken by my surgeon at the Southern Connecticut Hand Center. As you can obviously see I had some surgery. It all started about two and a half years ago when I noticed a small lump in my hand. I did what any guy would do, I ignored it and hoped it would go away. Well, needless to say it didn't. It grew steadily until it hurt to open the faucet for the hose. Now that I was somewhat handicapped it was time to act. I went for a series of X-Rays and I was told that I had a Tumor in my hand. I was scheduled for surgery and everything went smoothly. You can see the photos taken by the docs. Also there is a nice shot of the Tumor. I am back to work and I have only occasional hand pain when I grab something hard and it hits just right.

Thanks and enjoy

ED: Let's see if I can cut and paste to spice this entry up "I did what any guy would do and...""...grab something hard...". That's easy. Maybe I could work for a tabloid.

Nice pictures. We can only assume this was a benign tumor, so congrats on that. And the healing looks good also. Wild success all around I would say.
