Cruisin' for a Bruisin'

I was riding my bicycle along level pavement at a reasonably slow speed. I don't know what happened - suddenly my front wheel/handlebars had spun around as far as they could go, pinning my leg against the frame (my leg was up there because my bicycle came to an abrupt stop, and i didn't) and forcing me to fall helplessly with the bicycle. I think this wound was caused by the bottle holder on the frame, as i found later that it was all bent out of shape.

There wasn't any *dripping* blood, but the central wound did scab up nicely. I wish i had come across this site sooner so i could have taken fresher pictures. It was much nastier looking originally. The first picture of the bruise is about a week after the accident happened. The third one is about two weeks after the accident, and is almost totally healed. It's still itchy, though.

ED: Nice bruise. My personal favorite bike wound is always the "gear puncture". The pedal into the back of the leg always gets me, too. BTW, no dripping required.
