Grease Burn
----Begin E-Mail----
This is from a grease burn I got making donuts last October [2001]. I was dropping
the dough into a kettle full of hot cooking oil and caught some that
splashed.
The first picture is about two hours after I burned myself.
The second picture is the next day, when the blister and swelling had
maximized.
It hurt like hell. It took about two months to heal completely, as it was
pretty deep. It was hard not to pop it, since the blister was about two
inches long and a 3/4 inch wide and on my writing (left) hand. It did
eventually pop though, and it was like geyser.
I got some more pictures of when I cut the end of my finger off, I'll send
those in when I find them.
----End E-Mail----
ED: That's a good way to start the day, "Time to make the - OWWW! Son of a..." Glad it finally healed. If you have any other pictures of the healing process, send them in. And, of course, send in the finger pics.
