Back to this wound

message: Would you believe... not only did I not quit smoking, I forced the nurses to taki out my IV after a couple of days so I could go outside the burn unit to have a cigarette! I DID stop smoking around flamable chemicals....

Thanks a bunch to SMYW for posting my pics.... Fame and fortune are sure to follow!

message: That is a really gnarly burn. You must be vary proud of your scar. Fortunately, I've never burnt myself badly on much of anything. Maybe you should get a cool tatoo of Lady Luck or something on the scar.

message: Impressive wound! The yellow bacteria is a nice touch. I've never burned acetone, but did spill it on a shirt once, which disappeared immediately. Acetate and acetone are like matter/antimatter, apparently.

message: Often when looking at these pictures, I say
"Dude, you got off easy." This guy did not get off easy. My god, what a horrible thing. Unlike the guy who burned himself at the pig barbeque, Mr. Acetone got royally screwed. Take care.

message: Thanks so much for the response to my pain. Can I send update photos... Yep they are still changing after 5 years.

message: It's been almost 10 years now... The scars look much better but they still itch at least once a week. To prove my insanity, I work at the same marble shop and still smoke in the shop. Trust that I am much more careful... That will never happen again!

Thanks again for posting my story!
