shit.. thats nothing. When we play in the woods wer usually chrono at around 450fps. If you don't come home with welts you either suck bad, or are amazingly good :)
took one in the neck last month, left a nic bloody welt and left the right side of my face numb for 3 or 4 minutes. don't know exaclty how long, i was too busy playing as respawn was still active. after a typical outing of indoor playing i'll have around 15-30 welts :)

message: That is nothing, I was playing airsoft (like paintball, but with smaller, harder airfilled balls)and was sneaking up on a sniper when a wrung on the ladder to the roof broke he turned and shot me in the sholder, it had visible shockwaves extending a good two or three inches from the welt in the center. Unfortunatly it was some time ago and it has healed, so there are no pictures.
